Law & Order did an episode on this 20 years ago. The mother who refused to vaccinate was convicted of manslaughter because a kid too young to be vaccinated died after contact. They made it clear that, at the time, that was absolutely correct according to New York State laws, codes, definitions, and precedents. I only hope they remain so.

This is what I’ve been doing instead of being on tumblr and that’s probably good for me. (No, I am not either of these people – I was working at the event where these costumed interpreters were also working and taking photos with guests.)
Anyway, I’m still alive and probably owe people replies from three months ago, and I still suck at producing content and starting conversations I wish I could have about fandom, but feel free to say hello of you’re around.

I know I said I wasn’t working on it, but if anyone can remember an activity or assignment they enjoyed doing in history class or at a historic site – something educational – please tell me about it. I’m trying to write content for a middle/high school audience as a writing sample for an internship I’m not going to get and I need inspiration.
